Engagement at bottleworks hotel

Today I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph a proposal outside the Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indy! Adam contacted me back in March about photographing his proposal and we quickly found a date that work with his plans and my schedule! It was a beautiful spring day and my first time shooting outside the remarkable Bottleworks Hotel on Mass Ave. I arrived a bit early to get some test shots and then lie in wait for Adam and Gillian to arrive. One of the keys to being a successful proposal photographer is hiding in plain sight.. and judging by the first few photos I got I think I accomplished that! (Peep the moment Adam spotted me below.) After a beautiful, teary-eyed proposal I got introduced to the new bride-to-be Gillian and we spent about 15 minutes shooting some engagement photos before they were off to dinner with family!

The weather was perfect and Adam and Gillian were such a sweet couple, you could tell by the way they looked at each other that they have a lot of love in their future.
