Winter Engagement Photos
Today my team and I braved the cold for an engagement shoot! After a few weeks of talking with Trent and Mallory we finally decided on a plan for their engagement photos; wait for snow and schedule a spur of the moment photoshoot! With the forecast looking promising, we scheduled our shoot for a frigid Saturday in January. As we got closer the radar was predicting snow early in the morning with temps rising above freezing by noon. So, we set multiple alarms throughout the night to check on the weather and prepare for a 7am photoshoot! Unfortunately the snow never came, but the bright side was we could sleep in and reconvene in the afternoon.
Our first location was actually a patch of evergreen trees in my backyard, and with some intentional framing we captured the forest vibes we were hoping for. In a few photos I was even able to add some lighting to simulate the sun. After taking a heat break, Trent and Mallory did a quick outfit change and we headed over to One World at Woolery Mill, a one-of-a-kind wedding venue here in Bloomington, IN. We had a blast shooting these engagement photos and canβt wait to photograph their wedding this summer!
