The 2024 Little 500

This past weekend I once again had the opportunity to photograph the Little 500 at Indiana University! This year in addition to covering the Chi Alpha Cycling Team I also worked with Blueline Media to provide the IU Student Foundation with general photo coverage of the race.

It’s always a thrilling race and this year was no different! Two teams held the lead for the vast majority of the race while a pack of five chased them from about a half lap back. Both Chi Alpha and Black Key Bulls (Blueline’s team) were in that pack, and in the final 25 laps when they finally caught up to the leading teams it was Black Key Bulls that pulled out the victory. Chi Alpha placed 5th and were one of only a few top teams who finished all 200 laps of the race.
